Software as a Relationship

We understand you have many choices these days for your business needs and there is no shortage of great companies to help you.  Redline 9 Software Solutions believes in partnering with our clients, so you feel as though we are a part of your company.  If you have a request, we want to treat it as if you made the request to an employee.  As our partner, we want you to know you are valued.

Our Software as a Relationship model extends our services, so you can feel comfortable knowing, we are aligned and ready to help in all aspects of effort to reach your objectives.  We believe the 4 pillars of a great service delivery model include, Service Delivery Management, Technical Delivery, Solution Architecture & Product Management and Technical Project Management.  We are accountable to you, so you can achieve your business objectives.

Service Delivery

Our service delivery model defines the tactical approach Redline 9 Software Solutions takes on our client engagements.  We have standardized this approach after learning from many project deliveries and know there is always room for improvement.  As we continue to learn and grow, so will our service delivery model, so we can ensure we are meeting your business objectives.  The more we know about your current situation and needs, the better equipped we are to offer a viable approach to reach your goals.  Redline 9 prefers to take small incremental steps in the beginning, which offers cost savings to you.

DISCOVERY and ASSESSMENT

Our discovery and assessment approaches provide the means to give us more information while partnering with you on a much smaller engagement.  You can take the deliverables we provide and use as needed, even if you intend to not partner with Redline 9 to deliver the intended project.  We promote these services to eliminate spending larger cycles of time delivering, which may not meet your needs in the long run.  Our current approach includes:

Agile UX

Redline 9 expertise in Agile extends into the mid 1990’s when the founder was working on processes which promoted continuous check-in of code into VCCS, time boxed iterations and estimated effort with an emphasis on people working as a team.

The processes have evolved just as the complexity of the software produced today, and there is still as strong emphasis on people working together, collaboratively in time-boxed iteration.

We utilize an Agile UX approach, outlined here, which offers better collaboration, reduced risks in the production of software, improved software quality and the probability of releasing production ready code to the marketplace much faster.

Our process typically starts with initial discovery (and assessment) with your stakeholders, teams and subject matter experts to determine and define and or refine requirements for an initial Minimal Viable Product, MVP.  Our team will also investigate your current architecture and technology stack if it exists and determine options for the platform, which will best host your needs.

UX/UI

We understand not all projects have user experience and user interface needs, but many will, even for backend administrative tasks.  Our Agile UX approach will conceptualize, observe and analyze the context of use, the user’s tasks and determine the need for wireframes.  Our UX team will validate your intended user experience before development starts the implementation as well.  If there is no UX/UI, our development team can start on your development requirements and iterate through the estimated effort, typically on a 2-week iteration. Our process utilizes the latest tools and frameworks to help manage our process, which are found here, depending on your needs.

We will iterate through your estimated features/stories utilizing agile practices, which are collaborative and transparent.  We will document and track our progress and provide agreed upon key performance metrics.  We thoroughly integrate and test the developed software product.  Once you accept our delivered work, the team will deploy the code into the proper platform based on the agreed upon release schedule.

During our engagement, we will provide proper documentation, ensure knowledge transfer of work delivered and additional training can be provided as part of the SOW.
